A compact volume in which levels slide to each other to develop exteriors spaces to every levels. The aim of the project is the stack of functions while giving each of different grades of use.
Access to the building is done recessed from the street of the Menil, sheltered under the cantilever of the floor. Large and bright lobby allows users to move as easily exchange. On entering, one perceives the psychomotor area opens onto the common courtyard and wooded square through the game library.
This area is on two levels (with a set of double height) and can operate independently of the crib.
On the floors, the separation between service areas and sections is clear. The central position of the changes area each time allows a control input/output and all the spaces in the adjacent section.
The project develops on each floor generous terraces connection to all rooms awakening children. The “great roof terrace” at the last level is a meeting place and play between the different age groups.
